Melissa Gaddie is a multi-purpose girl.

The child of a minister and a teacher, Melissa grew up singing in church. In between high school and a seven-year college career that culminated in a BFA in photography, Melissa began a career as a musician that has spanned ten years and three bands — The Sockmonkies, Medusa 580, and currently, Sol 17.

Fulfilling a burning desire to do everything, Melissa is a vocalist, bassist, jewelry maker, photographer, aspiring knitter, and chef, but is not a very good dancer.
